This weekend at Leven’s we participated in the Downtown Logan Annual Sidewalk Sale with many of our prices slashed by up to 50% We personally wanted to thank each one of you who stopped by and visited us! You are what keeps us in business. We love having the pleasure to be a part of such a fun Logan tradition each and every year.
When I think about traditions, the first thing that automatically comes to my mind is Tevye from Fiddler on the Roof. When I was a senior in high school, our musical productions group put on Fiddler on the Roof as the musical for the year, which is the only time I have seen the musical. The song, “Tradition” is the opening number. In it, Tevye sings about the Jewish people and their society, their interactions and their traditions that have carried on for centuries. Tevye’s number sets the stage for the rest of the play, outlining the many traditions that are present in Jewish culture that Tevye wants to keep intact as the world around him changes.
Traditions help us to remember where we came from while society and the world change around us at such a fast pace. There are countless traditions that my family participates in that help us to grow closer to one another. One of my absolute favorite traditions is watching LDS General Conference with my whole family. Every General Conference, my mom goes out and buys one of those huge bags of Swedish Fish from Costco and we eat it during the sessions. Something like that is so small, but it’s something that my siblings and I can always count on. It sure gives us something to look forward to each April and October!

Thank you again to all those who came to visit us during one of our favorite traditions of the year! We love the Sidewalk Sale, and we can’t wait for the years to come. We look forward to seeing you again.
